I am a third generation printing company owner. My father, Lloyd Sample, founded United Litho in 1970. My great-grandfather owned a small printing shop in Fairmont, WV around the turn of the century. I basically grew up at United Litho, working in all phases of manufacturing. I spent 15 years learning the business of printing at Balmar and RR Donnelley. I have an MBA from George Washington University. I founded Sample Digital Printing in October 2004.

I started Sample Digital Printing for two main reasons. First, I have always felt that a business could enjoy greater success by exceeding client expectations rather than just meeting them. I want my clients to be Raving Fans. Secondly, I believe that digital printing is the future of the printing industry. The first two years in business seem to support both theories as we have enjoyed great success and have developed wonderful relationships with our clients.

My long term goal is to run Sample Digital Printing with my kids, Jack and Julia.
